AI Living Room Design: New Layouts and Decor on Your Own Photo
Upload a photo of your living room and describe the change: furniture arrangement, sofa, rug, wall color, lighting. ArchiVinci shows your living room with the new look.
How to Design Your Living Room with AI
Four steps from the room you sit in every evening to a new layout or a new look, without moving a single piece first.

Step 1
Take a Wide Corner Shot
Photograph the room from a corner in daylight, with as much of it in view as possible and the coffee table cleared.
Step 2
Describe the Change
In the Interior module, write the arrangement, the sofa, the wall color, the rug, the curtains and the light into the Prompt field. Your words set the style; there is no style list.
Step 3
Compare the Two Rooms
Generate and look at your photo and the result side by side in the before/after viewer. Run the prompt again for another variation.
Step 4
Fine-Tune with Edit Render
Mark the wall, the rug or the sofa on the result and change only that area. To move one piece and keep everything else, type the request in the Edit module, where the engine is asked to keep the rest of the image.
Free AI Living Room Design in Your Browser
A sofa, a rug or a wall color is hard to picture in a room you see every day. A design made on a photo of the room itself shows it where it will stand.
The Change, Not a Different Room
The engine is asked to keep your walls, windows and camera angle, so the comparison is about the new sofa or the new color, not about another room.
Nothing to Install
ArchiVinci runs in the browser on a phone or a computer: photograph the room with your phone and upload it straight away. Recent results stay in the app for 7 days.
Three Looks for Free
A new account's free credits pay for three images, enough for a new sofa, a new wall color and a new arrangement of the same room.
Living Room Ideas to Try with AI
Four ways to change a living room, from the furniture plan to a single wall. Try one per run so that you see what each one does.

Living and Dining in One Plan View
Open-plan rooms work when each zone has its own rug, light and furniture group. Describe the zones in the prompt; the image shows the idea, not the measurements. The result keeps the angle of your photo; to see the whole floor from above, restyle a 2D plan in the Floor plan module.

Wall Colors
Paint is the cheapest change with the biggest effect, and the hardest to judge from a small sample. Try two or three colors on the same photo before you buy a can.

A Feature Wall
A gallery of prints, wood paneling, a plaster relief or built-in shelves around the TV give a plain wall a focus. Describe it, or mark the wall on a result and change only that.

Sofa, Rug and Materials
A new sofa or a larger rug changes the proportions of the room. Name the color, the material and the size you have in mind, for example a low three-seater in rust velvet on a large wool rug.
Living Room Layout Ideas: See an Arrangement Before You Move the Sofa
Moving a sofa is heavy work for an uncertain result. Describe the arrangement in the prompt and look at it as an image first. This is not a living room layout planner with measurements: it shows how an arrangement looks, not whether it fits. Walkway widths and clearances still need a tape measure.
Arrangement | Words for the prompt |
|---|---|
Conversation | two sofas facing each other across a low coffee table |
Toward the view | the sofa facing the window, the TV on the side wall |
Reading corner | an armchair and a floor lamp in the corner by the window |
Open-plan zones | a large rug and a sofa with its back to the dining table |
Lamps and Curtains for the Evening
Floor lamps, wall lights and a pendant over the coffee table make the room in the evening; curtains decide how the windows look once it is dark. Describe them and compare Daylight with Warm light.
Three Living Room Looks to Copy
Walls painted in a warm terracotta with white trim, the rest of the room unchanged
A cream bouclé sofa, a jute rug, warm white walls, linen curtains, an oak coffee table and soft afternoon daylight
A dark green velvet sofa, a terracotta accent wall, a vintage Persian rug, brass floor lamps and a wall of framed prints
Light grey walls, a modular grey sofa, a round wooden coffee table, plants and a white sheepskin rug in a Scandinavian style
For Designers: Living Room Renders from a Sketch or a Model
A living room that exists only as a hand sketch or a 3D model view goes into the same Interior module and comes back as a realistic image. See sketch to render and 3D model to render for how designers prepare those views.
What the Free Credits Cover
A new account gets 3 free credits. The default engine makes the images without a watermark, and an Edit render change on a result costs a credit as well. Commercial use of the free images needs an active plan; with a plan the default engine has no limit and gives up to 4 versions per run. Sign in to upload.
Living Room Styles: Scandinavian to Maximalist
Scandinavian: light wood, white and grey, simple shapes, plants.
Mid-century modern: wooden legs, warm colors, a low sofa.
Japandi: low furniture, natural materials, calm colors.
Maximalist: strong colors, patterns and collected objects.
Examples with prompts: dopamine living room in green, contemporary terracotta living room, wellness living room in terracotta and the full style library.
What It Cannot Check for You
Whether the sofa fits: nothing is measured, and no floor plan comes with the image.
What to buy: furniture follows your description, not a catalog; there are no prices or shopping links.
That a piece stays exactly as it is: ask for it ("keep the grey sofa"), or change only the other areas with Edit render.
Small details: a socket or a radiator can look different from your photo.

AI living room design: your questions
Can AI rearrange my living room from a photo?
It can show a new arrangement as an image: describe it in the prompt, for example "the sofa facing the window", and compare. It does not measure the room, so check the walkways yourself before you move anything.
Can I keep my sofa and change everything else?
You can ask for it in the prompt, for example "keep the grey sofa, change the walls and the rug", and the engine is asked to follow it. For more control, generate once, then mark only the walls or the rug with Edit render and change those areas.
Can I try a new wall color before painting?
Yes. Name the color in the prompt, or generate once, mark the wall with Edit render and describe the new color. Compare it in Daylight and in Warm light: colors look different in the evening.
Can AI furnish my empty living room?
Yes. Upload a photo of the empty room to the Furnish module and describe the furniture and the style; in that module the prompt is required. The result shows the same room furnished.
