Render Your Restaurant Before the Fit-Out

Turn a sketch, a model view or a photo of the space into a dining room you can show investors and the landlord this week.

AI Restaurant Interior Design for Owners and Designers

A restaurant sells an atmosphere before it sells a plate. Owners, designers and brand teams need to see that atmosphere early: the dining room, the bar, the light in the evening, the terrace. ArchiVinci renders it from what you already have, a photo of the space, a sketch or a model view, in seconds.

  • From a photo of the space: describe the restaurant you want; the Interior module is asked to keep the room's walls, windows and camera angle while it changes the rest. How the module works: AI interior design.

  • From a sketch or a 3D model: a hand sketch or a SketchUp or Revit view becomes a presentation render. See sketch to render and 3D model to render.

  • For the façade and the terrace: a photo of the street front goes into the Exterior module to test signage, an awning and outdoor seating. See AI exterior design.

  • For one change only: mark the bar, the banquettes or the ceiling on a result and change only that, as shown on the image editor page.

Restaurant Rendering from a Sketch or 3D Model

For designers, the fastest use is restaurant rendering: a SketchUp, Revit or Rhino view of the fit-out goes in, a photorealistic image comes out. The default engine is asked to keep the perspective and the geometry of your view while adding materials, light and people.

  1. Export the view from your modelling program as an image, or scan the sketch, and upload it to the Interior module (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB).

  2. Tell the engine about the materials, the furniture and the mood in the Prompt field; with no style menu, these words decide the look.

  3. Seating, Plants, People and Lamps can be added as tags; table settings or a wine wall belong in the prompt.

  4. Choose a lighting option: Warm light or Twilight for evening dining, Daylight for lunch service, Golden hour for a room with west windows.

  5. Generate: with a plan, up to four versions arrive from one run, enough to compare two palettes and two lighting moods; each run on a free account makes one image.

  6. Keep the best version and change single parts, such as the bar back, by marking them with Edit render.

Restaurant Interior Prompts

Start from the restaurant type, then the main furniture, a few materials and the light:

A modern bistro with dark green banquettes, round marble tables, a black and white mosaic floor and warm brass wall lights
A fine dining room with linen-covered tables, curved walnut panelling, a glass wine wall and soft warm light
A casual pizza restaurant with an open kitchen, a tiled wood-fired oven, long communal tables and pendant lights

Because each run draws a new image, running a prompt again is the simplest way to get a second option.

One lounge-dining direction: warm materials, low seating and a big window view.

Restaurant Rendering Without a Rendering Service

Restaurant rendering services and visualization studios make each image for you, which takes time and is usually priced per image. ArchiVinci is the self-service alternative for the many images a project needs between the first sketch and the final presentation: concept options, an update after a client meeting, the terrace for an opening flyer. You upload, describe and render in seconds; the chosen direction can still go to a studio for a hero image if you want one.

Restaurant Interior Ideas: Seating, Bar, Light and Materials

Dining Zones and Table Mix

Booths along a wall, two-tops in the middle, a long table for groups: write the mix into the prompt and compare how dense or relaxed the room looks. A render does not count covers, but it makes the trade-off visible.

Bar and Open Kitchen

Try the bar in stone, wood or tile, with or without back shelving, and the kitchen open, half-open or closed behind a pass.

Light and Evening Mood

Most restaurants are judged at night. Twilight gives a dusk scene with the lights on; for a full night view, ask for it in a typed request in the Edit module.

Materials and Acoustics

Upholstery, curtains, timber ceilings and rugs soften a loud room and change its character. A sample from your supplier, photographed, can go onto a marked surface as a texture with Edit render.

Fine Dining, Bistro, Concept and Terrace Restaurant Prompts

The four restaurant types from the cards above, each with a prompt:

Fine dining restaurants: fewer tables, more space, layered light.

A fine dining restaurant with widely spaced round tables, cream upholstered chairs, a plaster ceiling with cove lighting and a sculptural flower arrangement

Casual dining and bistros: warm, busy, practical.

A neighborhood bistro with wooden chairs, a long zinc bar, a chalkboard menu wall and pendant globe lights

Concept restaurants: one strong idea carried through the room.

A Japanese-inspired concept restaurant with a timber slat ceiling, a long counter facing an open kitchen, paper lanterns and stone floors

Outdoor and terrace dining: use this prompt in the Exterior module with a photo of the terrace.

A restaurant terrace with a pergola covered in vines, wooden tables, string lights and olive trees in large planters

Plans, Covers and Codes Stay with Your Team

  • The image shows the atmosphere; it is not a measured layout, and it neither counts covers nor checks kitchen, fire or accessibility rules.

  • There is no furniture schedule or price list behind a result.

  • Each image is generated anew, so look at it next to your photo or model before you send it around.

  • Printing it on a menu or using it in an investor deck or on a website is commercial use: that needs an active plan.

Restaurant rendering and design: FAQ

How do I make a restaurant rendering with AI?

Upload a sketch, a 3D model view or a photo of the space to the Interior module, describe the furniture, the materials and the mood, choose Warm light or Twilight and press Generate. With a plan, upscale the final image to up to 4096 px on the long side for print.

Can I see my restaurant at night?

Twilight gives a dusk scene with the lights on, which is how most restaurant renders are shown. For a full night view, describe it in a typed request in the Edit module.

Can I keep the existing bar and change everything else?

Yes. Describe the restaurant in the prompt and mention the bar you keep, or work in steps: generate the room, then mark single areas with Edit render and change them one by one.

Does ArchiVinci make a restaurant floor plan?

No. It makes images, so it neither measures the room nor counts covers. For a plan that already exists, the floor plan coloring tool makes a colored presentation version.
