AI Office Space Design from a Photo, Sketch or Model

An office has to work for focus, meetings and the brand at the same time, and people agree on it faster when they can see it. ArchiVinci turns an office photo, a sketch or a model view into realistic renders, so a team, a client or a landlord can compare options before any furniture is ordered.

  • From a photo of the current office: the Interior module turns your description of the new workspace into an image of the same room and is asked to keep its walls, windows and viewpoint. More on the module: AI interior design.

  • From a fit-out model: a SketchUp, Revit or Rhino screenshot comes back with materials and light, the way 3D model to render describes.

  • For the building: a photo or model view of the façade, the entrance or the lobby goes into the Exterior module. See AI exterior design.

  • For an empty floor: a photo of a shell-and-core space can be furnished with the Furnish module to show tenants what it could become.

Six Steps from an Office Photo to a Render

  1. Take a wide photo of the floor or the room, or export a SketchUp, Revit or Rhino view, and upload it to the Interior module (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB).

  2. In the Prompt field, say what kind of workspace it is, what furniture it needs (desks, a meeting table, booths) and which materials and mood you want; the look comes from this text, not from a style menu.

  3. Tags under Add object add Seating, Plants, People or Lamps; monitors, acoustic panels or a reception desk are written into the prompt.

  4. Choose a lighting option: Daylight for a bright workspace, Studio light for a clean presentation image, Warm light for a lounge or a café corner.

  5. Generate. When a client wants options, a plan lets one run return up to four versions; a free account makes one image at a time.

  6. Refine the version you like: Edit render under the result lets you mark the meeting table, a wall or the ceiling and change only that.

Office Prompts to Start From

A good office prompt names the space, the main furniture, a few materials and the light:

An open-plan office with long white desks, black task chairs, acoustic felt ceiling panels, oak flooring and soft daylight
A meeting room with a walnut table for eight, a glass wall to the corridor, a large screen and warm pendant lights
A small reception area with a curved oak desk, a moss wall behind it, two lounge chairs and a stone floor

Each run draws a fresh image from the same upload, so two runs of one prompt already give you two options to show.

A white open-plan office with curved walls, a large curved window, yellow chairs, a round yellow meeting nook and a yellow rug.
One office direction: curved white architecture with a single bold accent color.

AI Office Layout Ideas: Compare Arrangements as Images

ArchiVinci is not an office layout generator that draws measured plans. It renders the arrangement you describe, so a team can compare an open plan with a zoned one as pictures before a planner draws it to scale.

Layout Options: Focus Zones and Team Areas

Show where quiet desks, phone booths and team tables sit in the same space, then run a second version with the zones swapped. A render will not size the zones for you, but it makes the balance between open and closed areas easy to discuss.

An open office with a row of focus desks by the windows, two glass phone booths and a team table with a whiteboard wall

Acoustics and Materials

Carpet, felt panels, timber slats and upholstered booths change how an office looks as much as how it sounds. Try two material palettes on the same photo and compare.

Daylight and Task Light

Run the same room with Daylight and with Studio light, or describe linear pendants over the desks and wall lights in the lounge.

Brand and Biophilic Details

Brand colors on a feature wall, plants, a reception wall with natural materials: describe them in the prompt. Text and logos rarely come out readable in an AI image, so add the logo afterwards in your own editing software.

Corporate, Home Office, Meeting Room and Private Office Prompts

One prompt for each office type in the cards above:

Corporate offices: large floors where consistency matters.

A corporate office floor with rows of white sit-stand desks, grey carpet tiles, glass meeting rooms along the core and daylight from both sides

Home offices: one room, often shared with something else.

A home office in a spare bedroom with a wall-mounted oak desk, open shelves, a green accent wall and a reading chair by the window

Meeting rooms: one table, one screen, good light.

A boardroom with a long dark oak table, leather chairs, fluted wood wall panels and a ceiling of warm linear lights

Private offices: a desk, a small meeting corner and storage.

A private office with a walnut desk, a low bookcase, two armchairs around a round table and a large window with sheer curtains

What the Generator Leaves to Your Space Planner

  • Desk counts, circulation widths and the fit to the floor area: the generator does not plan desks to a floor area or count workstations.

  • Building, fire and accessibility rules: nothing in the image is checked against them.

  • Furniture lists and prices: the furniture in a result follows your description, not a product range.

  • The final check: every result is a newly generated image, so a socket or a column can shift; hold it against your photo before you present it.

  • Commercial use: a leasing brochure or a tenant presentation needs an active plan.

Questions about AI office design

Can AI design an office from a photo?

Yes. Upload a photo of the office to the Interior module and describe the new workspace. The result follows the room you photographed and shows the furniture, materials and light you described.

Can AI design a home office?

Yes. Photograph the spare room or the corner you work in, upload it to the Interior module and describe the desk, the chair, shelving and the light. If the room is empty, the Furnish module adds the furniture you describe.

Can AI create office layout options?

As images, yes: describe two or three arrangements, such as an open plan, a zoned plan and one with more meeting rooms, and render each on the same photo or model view. The generator does not measure the space or count workstations, so the drawings to scale still come from your space planner.

Can I put our logo on the reception wall?

You can describe the brand colors and materials, but logos and text rarely come out readable in an AI image. Generate the space first, then place the real logo on it in your editing software.
